Kitty Loco Designs Artsy Fartsy Pursuits

This is my first attempt at appliqué. My pal Anna (who is quite pregnant) and I have been getting together for some good old fashioned girl gabbing and craft making, something I enjoy very much.

I am fairly pleased with the results of this experiment, but I thing next time I will be a little less color crazy with the thread and keep to two basic colors; a light thread for dark fabrics and a dark thread for the light fabrics. I feel I overdid it with the colors…it’s really bugging me, and I am this close to unraveling the entire thing and starting over. But I think I will just move onto the next project, that’s probably a smarter idea. Click on image for larger version.

This is so cute. You get to choose the character you like, print it out, cut and fold and voila you have a new pal! The above character is my fave, I especially love his big green booger. I have unfortunatly run out of ink so no fun for me. have a peek.
