Kitty Loco Designs Artsy Fartsy Pursuits

This is my first attempt at appliqué. My pal Anna (who is quite pregnant) and I have been getting together for some good old fashioned girl gabbing and craft making, something I enjoy very much.

I am fairly pleased with the results of this experiment, but I thing next time I will be a little less color crazy with the thread and keep to two basic colors; a light thread for dark fabrics and a dark thread for the light fabrics. I feel I overdid it with the colors…it’s really bugging me, and I am this close to unraveling the entire thing and starting over. But I think I will just move onto the next project, that’s probably a smarter idea. Click on image for larger version.

At long last I have taken pics of some of my handmade beaded jewelry. Are they for sale you ask? Well yes, here in Costa Rica. But I have plans to sell online in the future. Until then have a peek and send me your feedback.
